Well the local mountains are still closed! Mount Washington is open for a limited run, which means the green chair is open and the tows (I wouldn't consider that open). Mount Cain will not be opening this weekend Dec 18/19, they are working on a day to day basis now, so check in on there site for updates. Not a good start to the season here on the island, cross your fingers for snow. On a better note the resorts that are not located on the cursed island of vancouver seem to be off to a not so bad start. Maybe a trip inland is in order.. maybe.. well that it for now, happy skiing/boarding if your hill has snow.

Resorts are opening everywhere but here! We need snow.. so cross your fingers, pray, do a snow dance.. whatever it takes! On a more positive note there is a new posting by Thomas Hunterson in the articles section check it out.

The season has officially started! Mountains all around are opening up or are will be very soon... all the links on the conditions page have been updated, so all the snow report links are working now. Quite a few resorts this year have added new chairs and or more terrain so the newest trailmaps should be up in the next few weeks.
